Colombia, present and future

2021 has been a special year in many ways. The permanence of the pandemic forced us to further adapt our objectives and ways of working. This has given rise to challenges and also satisfactions. One of the main ones for Percus this year has been the completion of our first personalized video project in Colombia.

Percus was born in 2020 with the aim of adding value to Latin American companies by personalizing digital communication with their customers. Our proposal involves the implementation of customized videos that generate a digital link between the company and the customer, in a simple and attractive audiovisual format.

By the beginning of the year, our services had already generated value in Chile and Ecuador, we were accepted in the market and our videos were sent to more than 35 million customers a year. In this context, Colombia appeared to be the main objective for continuing our growth.

Why Colombia? In addition to being a country with which we share a great cultural affinity and bilateral relations, Colombia is a strategic destination for Percus, which seeks to develop in Latin America. With its nearly 50 million inhabitants, it has become one of the major players in e-commerce in the region and has a dynamic ecosystem of innovation in the digital field.

Thanks to the support of ProChile, a public institution that supports Chilean exports, we have generated a wide network of contacts in Colombia. This has allowed us to present our value proposition to different companies. Among them, the first to identify a great opportunity for digital contact with its clients was Porvenir. It is the main pension administrator in the country and part of the Aval group, one of the main financial players in the country.

In April of this year, the first mandatory account statement video was sent to Porvenir affiliates, which has been very well received by its customers. And we continue to talk with companies from different sectors to expand the use of customized videos in Colombia, because we know that it is possible to improve digital communication with customers at every stage of the customer journey.

Currently, Percus is one of the 30 companies in the ProChile program “Conecta TICs servicios Chile – Colombia”, which seeks to position the offer of Chilean technology-based companies in the Colombian market. Colombian clients are demanding and will allow us to continue improving our services. The diversity of companies and cultures within the country makes the challenge even more interesting, as it forces us to adapt the proposal and demonstrate value in different contexts.

We are optimistic about the future of Percus’ business relations with Colombian companies and we know that there is still an interesting path to follow. In alliance with local stakeholders, we hope to expand our presence towards the center of the continent, adding value to each project and generating a positive impact on communication with their clients. We are sure that together we can create a personalized digital experience, and chévere!
